Through Kingfisher’s ongoing commitment to quality and continuous improvement we have recently set up a comprehensive colour management system from pre-press, through to proofing and press that complies to the ISO 12647 colour standard.
We believe that pre-press and proofing are the key to achieving a robust colour management system. Our proofs are run to a ‘fogra’ profile, allowing separate profiles for coated and uncoated stocks in order to replicate as near to the finished product as possible.
The final piece in the jigsaw is our Image control unit that is linked to our presses. This ensures that the printed sheet matches the colour proof and also guarantees consistent colour throughout the job.
