Investing in the Future
Date: 27th May 2009
We have recently invested around £75,000 in a state-of-the-art digital printing system and have also created a new air-conditioned building in which to house the equipment.
“We have known for a while of the many advantages of digital printing but it was only recently that we felt that the technology was available to produce the quality standards of printing which we demand,” explained managing director Ross Bellotti.
Digital printing saves on resources and costs because of its potential to create small print runs and there is far less wastage – which is also in keeping with the firm’s commitment to an ecological ethos.
The new system is highly versatile, allowing customers to customise every copy in a print run if they choose, so permitting advertising that is targeted at individuals
Other advantages include the ability to make last minute changes or obtain advance copies for an urgent meeting.
The new machine - a Konica Minolta Bizhub C 6501- is now up and running and operated by the dedicated and professional team at Kingfisher who have 25 years of experience.
